Our mission is to empower Black youth through education and community support. We believe that by providing resources and opportunities, we can help build a brighter future for our community.
Kindred Foundation is a Canadian charity dedicated to funding health research & programs within three pillars:
1. Childhood cancer research and
clinical trials
2. Youth mental and physical health
3. Community support (e.g., food security, hospice/palliative care)
To ensure sustainable giving the Foundation is built on a solid financial endowment model with 100% of receipted donations directed towards the charitable purpose.
PoBC's focus is intentional, to eliminate anti-Black racism and de-colonize the education system. They support parents as they advocate for their children, and navigate the education system. They act as a wrap around support by offering workshops, and educational tools to best protect Black children.
The Black Foundation of Community Networks (BFCN) is a non-profit organization that was founded in 2011 and continues to serve and support local Black communities.
The Black Education Fund is supported by the Government of Canada's Supporting Black Canadian Communities Initiative and the Tropicana Community Services
